Our Research and Development team examine archived drawings to gain access to the most intricate details of the original model and replicate this in the model designs – even down to the number of rivets used!
Handcrafted by our incredibly skilled team of modelers, toolmakers and craftsmen, all products are made at our modern factory based in Consett, County Durham. Using high quality materials such as pewter and brass, DJH Model Loco kits are extremely durable and built to last.
Suitable for experienced modelers, our PMP11 kit is supplied with fitting instructions which details the tools required and step-by-step instructions to guide you through the build.
DJH are delighted to announce our FIRST 7mm G.W.R loco kit. Delivery October 2005. It is super detailed using the very finest materials. The kit covers numbers 2911-2955. Features include: functioning ‘valve linkage’, accurate cab detail fittings, flexible brake hoses, sprung buffers, copper cast chimney and brass safety valve bonnet.
The kit covers the 1907 Swindon built lot no. 170 engine numbers 2911- 2930 fitted with superheated standard top feed long taper No.1 boilers AND lot nos 185, 189 and 192 built bewtween 1911 and 1913 known as the ‘Court’ series of 25 engines – nos 2931-2955. Alternative parts to cover most major varients of the class during its working life are included.
We recommend purchasing our GB30R-3M motor/gearbox and WS PMP11 wheelset with this kit.
