BR Standard Class 7 Britannia 4-6-2
As the last express engines to work on BR, enthusiasts remember the Brits with tremendous affection and we have made every effort to ensure this model does full justice to a distinguished prototype. The body is largely in whitemetal, with fold-up etched cab, and a mass of steam fittings executed for the most part in lost-wax brass for easy soldering. The etched smoke deflectors feature all the panel work and inner bracing of the original and the cab interior is complete down to the last detail. This particular Britannia kit features the high-sided, high-capacity BR1D tender that was fitted to the final ten members of the class.
We recommend purchasing our GB30R-3M motor/gearbox and WS K317 wheelset with this kit.
